House Ag Members celebrate students participating at National FFA Convention

Washington, D.C. - Today, members of the House Agriculture Committee released a video to celebrate FFA members attending the 88th annual National FFA Convention in Louisville, KY, and recognize them for their dedication to the agriculture industry.
Every year more than 60,000 FFA members and guests gather at the National FFA Convention to attend meetings, compete in contests, and demonstrate their commitment to growing the future of agriculture. One of the House Agriculture Committee’s main initiatives is supporting agricultural innovation through research and extension with organizations such as 4-H and FFA. The National FFA Organization promotes premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. In the video, Chairman K. Michael Conaway was joined by colleagues Reps. Rodney Davis (R-IL), Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (R-PA), Vicky Hartzler (R-MO), Dan Newhouse (R-WA), Frank Lucas (R-OK), David Rouzer (R-NC), Austin Scott (R-GA), Trent Kelly (R-MS), Ralph Abraham (R-LA), Mike Rogers (R-AL), Ted Yoho (R-FL), Rick Allen (R-GA), and Jackie Walorski (R-IN).
