"I’m excited to get this farm bill done by the deadline of September 30th. It’s important to my farmer constituents out there. They need the certainty, the programs, they need the ability to make sure crop insurance is going to be there."

They need the certainty, the programs, they need the ability to make sure crop insurance is going to be there, the conservation programs for protecting the environment and they also make sure to our Americans and the consumers and the consumers in my district, that they have food that’s grown and produced close to home in the United States and the farm bill helps ensure that gets done.
